Symphonic Seductions 2014

It's that time of year again.  The start of a new season with our talented Seattle Symphony and dynamic Music Director Ludovic Morlot.  I get butterflies in my stomach wishing to attend and hoping eagerly to have a fabulous fellow offer his arm and accompany me.

Let's see....should I pen a Want Ad in the Classified Ads:

Spirited, Sophisticated sweetheart seeks
Charming, classical concert-loving chap
for delectable dining and symphonic seductions.

The Opening Night Concert and Gala for the Seattle Symphony is Saturday, September 13rd and if a pert, petite companion as your arm candy and mesmerizing musicologist is of particular interest to you, I'm just the gal for you!

I love any opportunity to support the fine arts.  We have so many fine musicians here in Seattle, not to mention the dynamic new Seattle Symphony Music Director Ludovic Morlot (in his third season) who kicks off the 2014–2015 season with a Paris-inspired program, together with one of the foremost artists of our time: violinist Gil Shaham.

Tickets are going fast, so contact me as soon as possible
to make our special evening possible.

How romantic to share a concert, dinner, and dessert together...

THOUGH...

...if pure indulgence is a possibility, we could be swept away by the elegance of a Parisian evening by the Seine at a post-concert black-tie cocktail reception and dinner at the luxurious Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

>***<

Did I mention how much I love wearing my Little Black Dress
and seeing my date dressed in his finest?

But...

...maybe red satin and pearls would set your heartbeat racing?

After all the Seattle Symphony motto is 'Listen Boldly.'
How about 'Impress Boldly' and I'll be your Lady In Red!

>***<

(and maybe what lies beneath the red satin will be our little secret)

Bumming Around With My Bestie

I'm so fortunate to have a close friend who is a wild woman, free spirit, loud and boisterous, real and raw, tender and terrific.  You could say we are soul sisters.  As different as we are physically, we share many dreams and desires in common.

Today we had such fun just bumming around sunning our bodies.  Alright, to be honest, I was frying and she was tanning.  The sun takes one good look at me and I'm beet red and have another freckle to play 'connect the dots'.

Prior to sunning, we had taken a salon by storm and had a duo pedicure.  The soft spoken gentle ladies who attended to our feet sometimes gave us a shy glance, as my friend and I laughed and shared about our recent adventures as sex-positive lusty creatures.

It's always such a pleasure to share openly and affectionately with my friend.  Gazing into her amber eyes and kissing her sweet lips.  Her heart is so beautiful, and her spirit just makes me soar.

What you cannot see in these pictures are our adorable and loyal doggys who wander in and out of our scene, nuzzling up for some attention too and then finding a bug or squirrel to chase.

Such an idyllic day with my dear friend, Joanne.

Reaching For The Moon

The enchantment of the moon tugs at the heart strings of those who are open to a magical life.

Here is a lovely haiku from such a person.
How fortunate I am to have such an admirer ~

Haiku for an August Moon
– dedicated to Miss Joy

sleep was evasive
the moon so bright and so close
it enlivened me

on my deck I watched
the shadows of evergreens
the moon a spotlight

awash in moonlight
the open bedroom window
pulls the beams to me

awakening to
accept the last of night's gift
I am now renewed

by Mars Laurent

Listen to this lovely song sung by Lizz Wright,
a luscious voice like velvet sliding sensuously over your body.

Now imagine the velvety touch of my nipples as they stroke your back,
followed by the silky strands of my hair.
Is your skin tingling now?  Slow down your breath and sink deeper into bliss.
Relax and renew your mind, body, and spirit
under my healing touch.

I'll be reaching for the moon with you.

A PhotoShoot: Two Sides of the Same Coin

I recently had the pleasure of a visit from a good friend who is a fine art photographer.
He captured a few of the essences you may not know of Joy, the seductive, sophisticated sweetheart
and her kinkier counterpart, Miss J.F. - Mischief, to be exact.

Let's begin with Joy, a woman who adores sensuality and men, and creates a life of abundance and vibrancy that she eagerly invites her lover to enter in.

Satins and silk stockings.

Corsets, lace, and garters.

And, of course, smiles.

Let's now draw attention to the mischief-maker, Miss J.F.,
who has the keys to unlock your deepest desires.

Perhaps your particular fetish is legs, feet, or boots.

Or other womanly charms

Or maybe you've been longing for a powerful woman
to surrender to completely,

She will stimulate your senses wildlly and make you breathless for her touch.

Should you get a bit fidgety, while she teases and torments you
in the most pleasurable of ways,
you'll remember she's bound to have some rope ready
to keep you from getting away.

Of course, you wouldn't want to anyway!

What do you think?  Did the photographer capture me?

I'm in the mood for love

Those who know me, know how important I find stimulating my largest sex organ, my brain.  So I found it fascinating to listen to this collection of Ted Talks regarding love and sexuality.  Who doesn't love Ted Talks?

http://www.ted.com/playlists/143/in_the_mood_for_love?awesm=on.ted.com_a0JR8&utm_content=awesm-publisher&utm_campaign=&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=on.ted.com-twitter

I count myself fortunate to be in a position to love many, to encourage them to open their hearts to love, explore love and intimacy, and learn to love oneself more and more in order to live a vibrant, whole-hearted life.  Yes, it's a risky process. Undoubtedly.

Many have asked, "Do you seek the love of your life, even though you make yourself available to those who are seekers requesting assistance and your feminine essence?"

"Unequivocally, yes," I say.

"Joy seeking love..."

I find it curious at the interconnectedness of my life, that a lovely gent sends me a link to this video
as I pen this very blog entry about love.
It is "Love Exists" (Celine Dion) sung by Genevieve Jodoin.
